Slamming doors?

Alright, since it is popular trend, I will do my own life hack. I used to have a problem with doors slamming very loudly, normally with the wind coming from open window. so to reduce the noise to almost zero, I tied a piece of old shoestring to the doorknob around both sides and onto the locking part itself. it cushions the sound and still locks and shuts. Can toss the door and it will still be nice sounding.

May not be the prettiest solution for this, but it works for me.
